Hawzah News Agency- Sadness overwhelmed the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ja'far as-Sadeq (peace be upon him), this sad occasion that befell on the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and their lovers on the 25th of Shawwal 148 AH, when al-Mansoor al-'Abbassi has poisoned him using his governor on Madinah Mohamad Ibn Sulayman, and the Imam (peace be upon him) was martyred because of that poison.
On this occasion, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, like the other shrines and sanctuaries, was overwhelmed with sadness and sorrow and its black banners were hang on all the walls of the sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and red lamps were lit as usual in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversaries of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
On the other hand, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has prepared a condolence program. A condolence council will be held in the al-Jood court, including two lectures, the first in the morning and the other in the evening, in addition to condolence and service activities for this solemn occasion.
